Started playing in 1988 for the Portsmouth Warriors - Two touch for one year, then two years of kitted. Got to the national youth final only to forfeit the game due to the bus not turning up to take them to the game!
Had a brief spell in 91 with the Bournemouth Renegades before joining Brighton B52s - spent two seasons there playing for Jim Roberson.
Represented GB Crusaders in Milwaukee in 92 where they narrowly lost 22 - 16.
Nick then spent 6 years out the game until 1999 when he played for the Bristol Aztecs for two seasons. He joined Chichester Sharks in 2001, as they entered the BSFL 9man league. In 2002, under Nick's QB leadership the Sharks began to develop into one of the dominant 5man teams and in 2003 they took the BSFL 5man league title. He has led them to runners-up spots in the 5man league in both 2004 and 2005.
