Helped to relaunch the successful Bournemouth Raiders Youth team of 1990-1991 as a senior flag side in 2001.

Became BSFL Secretary that same year, and held the position through to the end of the 2004 season, in a period where the league expanded at both a 9man and 5man level. Key member of the Bournemouth Raiders side that reached the BSFL 9man national final in 2002, and quarterbacked them to two 5man national titles (in 2002 and 2004).

His 15 TD passes in the 2002 are a club record. Earned his first England cap in the win over Ireland in May 2004.
