Founded and played for the Sheffield Saxons / Lightning flag team throughout it’s existence. Played, coached and captained England vs Scotland in Dundee in 2000. He was a major force in developing the league and wrote the British Senior Flag League (BSFL) constitution, the core of which still exists today in the ESFL.
