After an American Football career playing for the local kitted side, Leicester Panthers, Craig joined the Leicester Eagles and as emerged as one of the most successful players ever in the English Senior Flag League. In a decorated career for the Eagles, Craig has won five 9-man championships (1998, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005) and in 2005 also won his first 5-man league championship with the Eagles. Craig also represented England against Ireland in the 2000 international.
