Thunder Strike in Brighton

Thunder's 3-0 performance at Brighton blows open the race for a end of season Final Four spot, and a chance to playoff for the ESFL 2006 championship.

Thunder lead the current ESFL standings with a 100% record in 2006 (though they have to compete in a minimum of a further 2 more tournaments to qualify for the Final Four). They are closely followed by the London Liberty on 0.800%, the Leicester Eagles on 0.778% and the Barbarians in the final qualification spot on 0.750%.

The Final Four tourmament will be run alongside the Beach Bowl competition in December (date still to be decided). Teams must play in three ESFL tournaments to qualify for the Final Four. Cut off for the Final Four qualification is November 26th (the last Sunday before a likely 2 week break before the BeachBowl).
