Beach Bowl VI on the horizon

The ESFL is proud to announce that a record 13 teams will be taking part in Beach Bowl VI - the annual end of year senior flag flag festival. This year, in a change from previous years, the top four sides from the ESFL regular season will be playing off in a separate "Final Four" competition for the right to be called ESFL National champions.

In 2006, 18 teams competed in 9 tournaments throughout the year, and it was the Leicester Eagles whose impressive form of 19 wins from their 25 matches leads to them being granted the number 1 seeding for the Final Four. London Liberty, a team of US nationals, are the number 2 seeds, with the Chichester Sharks number 3 seeds and the Barbarians from Sussex number 4 seeds.

These four sides will be parachuted into the latter stages of the Beach Bowl which be running at the same time starting with three qualifying groups of three teams.

The days events will be played at SIX VILLAGES SPORTS CENTRE, WESTERGATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE, LIME AVENUE, WESTERGATE,WEST SUSSEX PO20 3UE.
