Anglo Irish Challenge Flag Game

The Annual Flag American Football Game, "The Anglo Irish Challenge" takes place this Saturday July 12th at the Iveagh grounds in Drimnagh, Dublin, between The Drimnagh Cycos and The Leicester Eagles.

Kick off is at 2pm. This is the seventh match up between the teams and the record currently stands at 4 wins for the Cycos, 1 win for the Eagles and 1 draw. The Eagles are current British Champions and are currently second in their division in the British League.

The Cycos don't have a league to play in and haven't played a game since January 2003 when they were defeated by a British League Selection 18-12 in Dublin. Should be interesting!
