BSFL Week 3 Preview

The London Hurricanes host, and play in, their first games of the 2002 BSFL season on Sunday as they entertain the Fen Harriers and the Invicta Coyotes.

The Hurricanes played in 2001, where they played 2 games losing both. But, those games were against the 2 eventual finalists - the London Gators and the Canterbury (now Invicta) Coyotes. The Coyotes were taken right to the wire winning eventually 14-12, and another close game is anticipated.

The Harriers got back to winning ways 2 weeks ago, after their opening game defeat to the Leicester Eagles, with two shutout victories against Brighton and Chichester. Invicta secured 2 wins against the same opposition in week 1, and the Harriers/Coyotes match up looks like being the game of the day. The tournament takes place at the Darrick Wood School in Orpington. 1.30pm kick-off.
