BSFL Week 4 - Game Report

Leicester opened the scoring with two Rich Manning rushing TD's in the 1st quarter. Sheffield finally responded in the 2 nd quarter with a rushing TD of their own from Richard Ellis. This was quickly countered with a TD pass from Craig Broughton to Chris Taylor on an option play.

The second half saw Sheffield score first with Mark Bamford returning a punt for 80 yards and a TD. This was swiftly countered by Leicester with Rich Manning's 3rd rushing TD of the day, the 2 pointer being caught by Tony Wilson, and an interception return for a TD for Leicester's Chris Manning. Sheffield then staged a mini revival with the defence playing out of their skins and Anthony Daley scoring twice on long TD passes from Carlo Pastorelli, Richard Ellis scored the 2 point conversion on the first of Daley's TD's to bring the final score to 32 to 26.
