BSFL Week 3 - Game Report

In a tight first half the only score was a TD for Fen Harriers by Lawrence Tallon on a 50 yard run. The 3rd quarter saw the Harriers push further ahead with a TD pass from Martin Brown to Lawrence Tallon.

The game hotted up in the 4th quarter beginning with a determined fightback from Doncaster who scored on a short yardage run from Kevin Mawsom with Andrew Colbeck the 2 point conversion on a reception. The Harriers answered the challenge with an impressive 80 yard drive culminating in another Tallon TD run behind some powerful blocking. The Harriers pulled further ahead with an intercepted pass returned for a TD by Lawrence Tallon. Team captain Felix Smith switched from centre to fullback to run in extra 2 points. Victory for the Harriers was sealed with an incisive 30 yard run from Paul Griffiths.
